On 5 July 2016 an entrepreneures delegation of 5 from the research management department of the Sinochem International Corporation and the Jiangsu Sinogrchem Technology Co. Ltd visited CATAS-RRI and discussed with CATAS-RRI scientists in natural rubber. A field visit was arranged for the delegation to the CATAS-RRI Research Demonstration Sites and the State Natural Rubber Germplasm Repository.
Visit the base
These two companies, headed by the Sinochem International, are also involved in natural rubber in foreign countries and showed their interest in collaboration with CATAS-RRI in research and development as well as technology transfer after they discussed with the CATAS-RRI scientists and are presented with the research results and demonstration in the field. They would like CATAS-RRI to give technical support to preparation of land for rubber planting, their rubber plantations and rubber processing factories in foreign countries. Follow-up activities will be done soon after the visit.
